Hundreds attented last rites of slain militant in Langate

Hundreds of people attended the last rites of 18 years old militant at his native village langate in north kashmirs Kupwara district.

Identified as Furkan Ahmad(18yrs) of langate village of kupwara district, Furkan was killed in a gunfight with the government forces in Guloora village of Handwara last night.

After a funeral procession held in nearby Eid-Gah, Furkan was buried amid Pro Freedom and Anti India slogans at his ancestral graveyard.

Another slain militant who died in the same encounter was identified as Liyaqat Ahmad Lone alias Umar Khalid of Harwan Sopore.
