HM Amit Shah reviews J&K situation after Rahul Pandits killing

Press Trust of Kashmir | SRINAGAR :The Union Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah held a review meeting in New Delhi today, on the security situation in Jammu & Kashmir.

The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha and other senior officers of the Government of India, including the Army and Jammu & Kashmir Government attended the meeting.

In meeting besides taking up review of situation of J&K after Rahul Pandits killing, deliberation was also held on Amarnaath yatra and other important issues.

Pertinently, last week a Kashmir Pandit Rahul Pandit was killed in government office in Chadoora Budgam following which protests erupted across J&K.

Pandits have been demanding their posting to safer places and investigation into killing of Rahul Pandits.

Various political leaders and government officials have visited to protesting pandits, however, protests are continue ag different places. : PTK
