Groom votes for elections before marriage, says it’s his prime duty

Sarinagar Nov, 28 (PTK) Groom before his marriage in Akhnoor casted his vote for the first phase of DDC elections.

Being West Pakistani refugee, he voted for the first time in J&K and told that it was his prime duty.

He further added “Casting vote is everyone’s right and I got this right for the first time. Voting is important for every election be it Parliament, Assembly, Sarpanch or DDC and I just did my part.”

The first phase of DDC elections have started and all the political parties and groups are actively participating in it. Some groups have even started campaigning.(PTK)
