Grameen bank manager escapes unhurt in militant attack in Pattan

Govt, management failed to save our life:- Grameen Bank employees

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR OCT 03:- A non-local bank manager escaped unhurt after militants fired at him in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

Militants fired upon Grameen bank manager in Goushbugh in the Pattan area of the north Kashmir district

They said that in the incident manager escaped unhurt following which area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.

“We condemn the attack on Branch Manager Vivek Kumar posted at Branch Gushbog of Jk Grameen Bank by unknown Gunman.
We urge the Government to punish the perpetrators behind such attacks.J&K Grameen Bank officers tweeted.

” It is the duty of Government and Management to save the lives of their employees but both have turned Nelson’s eye to security of staff posted there.” They said.

“We have time & again intimated the Management to transfer the non local employees from Kashmir to Jammu Region but to no avail.” They added.
