GMC employee takes his own life, family demands justice

Srinigar Nov 04 (PTK):Sahil Singh Jasrotia, a GMC employee committed suicide at his residence in Bantalab.

The 26 year old married man gave no clue to his family about this mishap. They were surprised to see the incident through their eyes.

“Sahil told me and his wife to get some household things from the market. When we returned, our house was locked. We called him several times but he didn’t open the door. We called a neighbour to help us and when the door opened we found him there.” Said his mother

“He never fought or beat me. We don’t know the reason behind such big step. (Cries)” his wife added.

The poor family demands justice and wants Police to investigate about this suicide. They want to know whether there was a threat or some personal reason. They have also requested a job for Sahil’s wife as he was the only bread earner of the house.

Sahil’s sister said “Sahil never discussed any problem with him. We always had a normal talk about each other’s well being. He could never commit suicide. I pray for soul to rest in peace. An investigation should be done and a job must be provided to his wife.” (PTK)
