GEMS Public School Bijbehara functioning un-authorizedly since Dec 2020:- CEO Anantnag

Srinagar January, 12(PTK) GEMS Public School in Anantnag is functioning un-authorizedly and parents should desist from admitting their wards in the said un-recognized school, Chief Education Officer Anantnag has said.

“It is for the information of general public as well as parents whose wards are studying in GEMS Public School, Bijbehara Anantnag through this notice that as per Order NO: DSEK/GS/Ang-GMMS/2018 Dated: 19.03.2018, this office has taken over the charge of GEMS Public School Bijbehara both financially and academically.” Reads a notice issued by CEO Anantnag.

“The School authorities without getting approval from this office (Nodal Officer) /competent authority have withdrawn huge amount from the school accounts which is against the order issued by Director School Education Kashmir Vide No:DSEK/GS/54-Misc/231 Dated: 16.06.2021 and this office No; CEO/A/IMW/15727-40/21 Dated: 04.08.2021. The recognition of the school has also expired on December 2020 and thereafter the school is functioning unauthorizedly.” Notice reads further.

“Now, therefore, keeping in view the matter under consideration, it is informed to public in general and parents whose wards are studying in GEMS Public School Bijbehara in particular that the school is functioning un-authorizedly without recognition and as such desist their wards in getting admitted in the said un-recognized school.” It reads.
