Ganderbal Police attaches property of five proclaimed offenders who exfiltrated to Pakistan

The Ganderbal Police, in collaboration with Naib Tehsildar Kangan, executed an order issued by the District Magistrate Ganderbal (Order No.13/DM/GBL, Dated 28-12-2023) under Sections 82 and 83 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC). The operation aimed to attach the immovable properties of six proclaimed offenders who had absconded to Pakistan or Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to undergo illicit arms training, linked to case FIR No. 82/2009 under the EIMCO Act at Police Station Kangan.
Despite the offenders being at large across the border, the authorities have taken swift action to secure their properties. The details of the attached properties are as follows:
Agricultural Land measuring 01 Kanal 01 Marla at Survey No.134, located in the revenue Estate Kawcherwan Kangan, belonging to Proclaimed offender Bashir Ahmad Bhat, son of Gh Mohd Bhat, resident of Kawcherwan Kangan.
Agricultural Land measuring 19.5 Marlas in Estate Tangchatter, surveyed under Survey No.185, registered under the name of proclaimed offender Mehraj ud Din Shah, son of Mohd Syed Shah, resident of Tangchatter Kangan.
Agricultural Land measuring 1 Kannal 6 Marlas in Estate Akhal, surveyed under Survey No.988, registered under the name of proclaimed offender Fayaz Ahmad Shah, son of Mohd Yousuf Shah, resident of Tangchatter Kangan.
Agricultural Land measuring 1 Kanal 9 Marlas in Estate Tangchatter, surveyed under Survey No.13, registered under the name of proclaimed offender Fayaz Ahmad Shah, son of Mohd Yousuf Shah, resident of Tangchatter Kangan.
Agricultural Land Measuring 1 Kanal 6 Marlas in Estate Akhal, surveyed under Survey No.988, belonging to Proclaimed offender Saif ud Din Shah, son of Mohd Yousaf Shah, resident of Tangchatter Kangan.
