Five militants including JeM Commander killed in twin encounters

JeM commander Zahid Wani & a Pakistani militant among the killed, terms it a big success for security forces, says IGP Kashmir

Srinagar, 30 Jan (PTK):The Inspector general of police Vijay Kumar on Sunday said that a commander of proscribed militant outfit JeM zahid wani among five militants of Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-i-Toiba outfit were killed in twin operations in last 12 hours in Pulwama and Budgam district.

An official told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) the two encounters took place in Naira Pulwama and chrar-i-sharief Budgam on Saturday evening , while one militant of Lashkar-i-Toiba outfit has been killed in the chrar-i-sharief operation and four militants including JeM commander, Zahid Wani were killed in naira Pulwama gunfight.

Kashmir Zone Police, while Quoting Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on its official twitter handle said that 05 militants of Pakistan sponsored militant outfits LeT & JeM killed in dual encounters in last 12 hours. JeM commander militant Zahid Wani & a Pakistani militant among the killed. Big success for us.(PTK).
