Encounter underway in Pulwama, two militants trapped

Pulwama Nov, 19 (PTK) An encounter between security forces and militants is underway in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. Two to three militants are believed to be trapped at the site.

An official said that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Parigam.

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight.

A senior police officer also confirmedabout exchange of firing between militants and security forces.(PTK)
