Eid Prayers to be held at Jama Masjid Srinagar at 9:00 AM

Srinagar, June 16: Eid Prayers will be held at Jama Masjid Srinagar at 9:00 AM and Mirwaiz Kashmir is going to deliver sermon at 8:00 AM.
In a handout, Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid has expressed strong resentment and disappointment that the Waqf board did not respond to the Auqaf letter and failed to make necessary arrangements at the Eidgah for the upcoming Eid prayers.

For over a year now under the pretext of upgrading Eidgah, Waqf board is not completing the repair works despite repeated requests and reminders, reads the statement issued to thd media and added “as such it has been decided that the Eid prayers will be held at Jama Masjid Srinagar at 9:00 AM. Mirwaiz Kashmir Molvi Umar Farooq will deliver his Eid sermon from 8:00 AM.”
