DDMA Kargil launches online registration of screened passengers at COVID-19 screening points
CMAC Team sensitizes inbound passengers at Meenamarg, Khangral
KARGIL JULY 07, 2020(PTK): District Administration and District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kargil today kick started the online registration of screened passengers at the COVID-19 screening points established at Meenamarg and Khangral.
On the directions of the District Magistrate (DM) and Chairman District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Kargil Shabir Hussain in presence of District Surveillance Officer and Deputy Secretary Culture Kargil Nazir Hussain formally launched the online registration system at Meenamarg Screening Point.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Drass Asgar Ali, Assistant Director (AD) Information Kargil Muhammad Ali Tak, Area Magistrate Meenamarg and Principal Higher Secondary School Drass Khursheed Ahmad, SHO Drass Manzoor Hussain besides other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
At Khangral Screening Point the online registration facility was launched by the District Surveillance Officer Kargil in presence of Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Shakar Chiktan Kacho Asgar Ali, AD Information Kargil and In Charge Police Post Khangral Ghulam Haider.
The online registration facility will help in creating a real time data base about the details of passengers entering the district from Srinagar and Leh side.
Through the online facility details like name, parentage, vehicle type and registration number, mobile number, age, temperature recorded, type of traveller ( driver, helper, passenger, student), state/district/village, origin of travel, destination, whether going to village or home quarantine location, duration of stay and other relevant details.
Meanwhile, on the sidelines of the launching of the online registration facility, as a part of the ongoing COVID-19 Mass Awareness Campaign (CMAC), the team CMAC Kargil imparted verbal awareness to the inbound and outbound passengers about the preventive measures of COVID-19.
