DDC Rajouri reviews functioning of Cooperative societies, realization of deliverables
Asks for close monitoring to achieve results within set timeline
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAJOURI, AUGUST 18: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today reviewed the functioning of the Cooperative societies here in a meeting of the concerned officers.
Officers present in the meeting were CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; Dy Registrar Cooperative societies, Antar Singh; AD Planning, Mohammad Rafi and other concerned officers.
Speaking at the meeting, the DDC said that strengthening and revival of the Cooperative societies is the need of hour and dedicated efforts must be made in this regard.
He also said that cooperative societies play an important role in self-employment generation activities and boosting the economy of the district.
Detailed discussion on developmental deliverable targets of the department were also held in the meeting.

Asking for strengthening of cooperative movement in the district, he directed the department functionaries to put in dedicated efforts to achieve the assigned targets in set deadlines.
The DDC also stressed on greater inter-departmental co-ordination to achieve the desired results in different priority areas set by the UT Government within a set timeline.
The officers of the department were also asked to monitor the progress regularly in order to achieve quantifiable results.
