DDC Ganderbal inaugurates National Integration Camp

 

GANDERBAL, MARCH 04(PTK): Under the famous ‘Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat’s campaign, National Integration Camp was today inaugurated by the District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal at Government Physical Education College Gadoora, Ganderbal.
SSP Ganderbal, Khalil Poswal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, Director Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Deputy Director Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Principal Government Physical Education College and other concerned officials were present on the occasion.

Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MoYAS) Government of India is organizing 5 days National Integration Camp ensuing today in which 250 youth from 10 states and J&K are participating.

The aim of organizing the camp is to promote the spirit of national integration through engagement between all states and union territories with special emphasis on Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.
Speaking on the occasion DDC explained how such events increase compelling experience and how the youth can contribute in the progress and development of the country and for the development of the society.

He also assured all possible support from the district administration for making the programme a grand success.
ADC Ganderbal while speaking on the occasion highlighted the aim and purpose of organizing such camps.

Director Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan spoke about the activities that are to be done during the camp days besides highlighted the contribution of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan towards national integration.

The highlight of the inauguration ceremony was a dance performances and cultural talent that was displayed by the participants.

Later, DDC chaired a meeting at Meeting Hall, Mini Secretariat to finalize the arrangements for the visit of Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports, and MOS, Minority Affairs, Government of India Kiren Rijiju who is participating in National Integration Camp on 6th March and 7th March 2020(PTK)
