DC B’pora inspects progress of night shift macadamization
Visits MARES Institute of SKUAST, Izmarg
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 03: On his two days visit to Gurez, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmed inspected progress in night shift macadamization in Dawar area of Gurez Subdivision.
During the visit, Dr. Owais inspected the ongoing macadamization process and directed the concerned agencies to maintain quality and standard of work. He further directed them to complete the process of macadamization within targeted time.
He urged them to double the efforts for completion of work keeping in view the limited working season of Gurez.
Dr Owais said Administration is taking concerted measures for macadamization of all roads of Gurez, stage wise and said that District Administration is committed to ensure better road connectivity in Gurez Subdivision.

Earlier, the DC visited the Mountain Agriculture Research and Extension Station (MARES), Izmarg Gurez of SKUAST.
He expressed happiness and satisfaction for growing organic crops by MARES. He appreciated the efforts of MARES Izmarg for growing organic crops like Broccoli, Bagtore Kale and other salad crops.
The DC asked the concerned at MARES Izmarg Gurez to renovate VIP Huts and assured full support of the District Administration in implementing the programmes of SKUAST.
Dr Owais was accompanied by SSP Bandipora, ADC Bandipora, Joint Director Planning and other concerned officers.
