Ensure delivery of benefits of government sponsored schemes at people’s doorsteps: Dr. Owais to Officers
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 30: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed accompanied by SSP Bandipora, Mohd Zahid Thursday conducted an extensive tour of the Dardpora area of Arin Block including Gabi Pathri and other adjacent areas.
The DC conducted the visit to get first-hand account of the public issues including Electric Sub stations, water supply schemes and land disputes, besides he also took stock of availability of essentials and inspected various developmental works.
During the visit, the DC directed the officers to ensure delivery of benefits of government sponsored schemes at people’s doorsteps. He also impressed upon the officers to work with added zeal to achieve the development targets and delivery of the benefits of schemes to the rural masses.
He also inspected various ongoing developmental works and impressed upon the concerned to work with dedication and complete the works within set time limits.

During the visit, the DC said that the aim and objective of this visit is to have an on spot assessment, besides to have first hand appraisal of the ground situation of these areas relating to availability of basic amenities and also to listen to the demands, issues and grievances of inhabitants.
The DC enroute interacted with the general masses of these areas, listened to them patiently and assured that all their genuine issues would be addressed in a time bound manner within a shortest possible time.
Responding to the issues and demands, the DC said that his top most priority shall be to address all the issues of the public without delay.
Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, BDO Arin, Ex. Engineer PMGSY and officers from Revenue, R&B and other concerned also accompanied the DC.
