Covid Surge: J&K Govt Announces complete restrictions on Non-essential movements during weekends

Srinagar, 15 Jan (PTK) : In view of surge in Covid cases, the J&K government on Saturday ordered complete restrictions on non-essential movements during weekends in the entire Union Territory Jammu and Kashmir.

As per the order, a copy of which lies with Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) the state executive committee announced that there will be complete restrictions on non-essential movements during weekends in entire J&K.

The order reads that Night curfew shall continue to remain in force in all districts from 9 pm to 6 am with complete restriction on non—essential movement.

The measure has been taken to minimise transmission of Covid-19 and prevent its further spread. he order also stated that there shall be no in-person teaching in colleges, schools, ITIs, ok l polytechnic colleges and coaching centres in Jammu and Kashmir.(PTK).
