Covid-19 guideline violations: 1068 violators fined throughout the Kashmir valley

Police seeks public cooperation to mitigate spread of virus

Srinagar July 21 (PTK) Continuing its efforts to curb the outbreak of 2nd wave of Coronavirus, during the last 24 hours Police have realized fine to the tune of ₹1,33,600/- from 1068 people throughout the Kashmir valley for violating the various guidelines/rules/SOPs regarding Covid-19.

The special drive against the violators of Covid-19 guidelines/rules continued throughout all the districts of Kashmir Valley to ensure that people adhere to SOPs/guidelines envisaged by the government to curb COVID-19 pandemic.

Community members are once again requested to cooperate with the Police in containing the spread of Coronavirus by following the SOPs/ guidelines/protocols for their own safety and for the safety of others. The special drive shall continue throughout the districts of Kashmir Valley to strengthen the safety measures. (PTK)

Press Trust of Kashmir | DODA : Major encroachment on state land in village Fangota of tehsil Doda was averted due to timely intervention of Revenue authorities supervised by Tehsildar Doda Shabir Ahmad Malik and SP Bhaderwah Abdul Qayoom.

It was given out that a patch of state land allotted for use of a government department was encroached at village Fangota.

After getting information about the encroachment, Tehsildar immediately rushed to the spot. On seeing that encroaching party has resorted to violence, Tehsildar informed SP Bhaderwah who acted swiftly and sent a police party from Police post Bhalla headed by its incharge. The timely action of revenue and police authorities resulted in removal of encroachment in the state land.(PTK).
