CIK Raids Across Kashmir: Recruitment Module of New Terror Group Dismantled

Srinagar, October 22: The Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Tuesday conducted a series of coordinated raids across ten locations in Kashmir, detaining seven suspects. Authorities also seized 14 mobile phones, one laptop, and various incriminating materials during the operation.

The raids were carried out in the districts of Srinagar, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Anantnag, Budgam, and Kulgam, according to an official statement.

Top sources revealed to the Press Trust of Kashmir that the CIK successfully dismantled a recruitment module of the newly formed terrorist organization “Tehreek Labaik Ya Muslim” (TLM), an offshoot of the notorious Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The group was allegedly being run by a Pakistani handler known as Baba Hamas.

Further investigations into the matter are ongoing, with security forces ramping up efforts to curb recruitment activities by terrorist groups in the region.
