Budget 2020: One lakh crore rupees for UT is a great amount: Ashok Koul

Srinagar, Mar 18 (PTK): The Bahratiya Janta party (BJP) unit of Jammu and Kashmir has welcomed the recent budget allocation from central government with its general secretary Ashok Koul calling it great step toward betterment of the union territory.

In an exclusive chat with Press trust of Kashmir (PTK) General Secretary of Bahratiya Janta party (BJP) Ashol Koul said that the recent budgeted announced by finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman is a welcome step and a way forward for the betterment of union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

“All the sectors have been kept in consideration. “Not only that but new posts will be generated for the people of Jammu and Kashmir especially for unemployed,” he said.

“One lakh crore rupees  for a union territory is a great amount, all the sectors including tourism, infrastructure and other have been kept in consideration which is welcome step and people should appreciate it,” Koul added.

Ashok Kaul said that this huge budget is an achievement almost all the sectors included in the budget is a way forward for development and betterment of the valley. (PTK)
