Didn’t expect Azad to stoop too low: JKAP

‘Traditional parties sensing forthcoming defeat, out to unleash malicious propaganda’

Srinagar, Mar 18 (PTK): Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) on Wednesday hit back at congress MP Ghulam Nabi Azad, terming his recent statement a figment of his imagination and reflective of the anarchic mindset.

Azad recently while meeting NC patriarch Dr Farooq Abdullah at latter’s resistance accused JKAP of being the creation of agencies and stated that such parties only undermine the principles of democracy.

Talking to Press Trust of Kashmir (PTK), JKAP leader Usman Majeed reacted to Azad’s statement and termed the views of congress veteran a figment of his imagination and refection of the anarchic mindset. Usman said that statement was most unfortunate and it was not expected from a leader like Azad to stoop so low.

He added that the NC, Congress and PDP have begin to feel the heat and they are sure of being at the receiving end of the peoples wrath at the time of the elections. “This is the reason that such a malicious propaganda is being unleashed against the party whose core agenda is to get Jammu and Kashmir out of the morass of uncertainty and chaos. People like Azad consider Kashmir as their person fiefdom which they can control through the policies of deceit and deception. Such a time has now gone forever,” said Usman.

He added that Congress is nowhere existent on ground and the time is not far when the party will witness its worst ever rout in the country as well as in Jammu and Kashmir. “Sensing defeat and existential threat, Azad and his ilk are out to defame and unleash malicious baseless and fabricated lies. People are wise enough to understand such game plans,” Usman asserted. (PTK)
