Bhaderwah Man booked under PSA for hate speech

Srinagar July 04 (PTK)A man from Bhaderwah district was booked under PSA for delivering hate speech.

Police in a statement issued to PTK said that on 9th of June-2022, following a Bandh call, law and order problem erupted in Bhaderwah area as the people on the instigation of some trouble creators of Bhaderwah took out processions.

In the whole incident of law and order, one Adil Gafoor S/O Abdul Gafoor R/O Bhaderwah was surfaced to be a mastermind who instigated the processionist and also delivered hate speech and derogatory remarks against a particular community from Jamia Masjid Bhaderwah, statement said.

Being a serious threat to public order the aforesaid accused person has been booked under PSA and lodged in Kote Bhalwal Jail Jammu, it added.

It is to mention here that Case FIR No. 92/2022 U/S 295A, 506, 153A IPC Act & FIR No. 94/2022 U/S 353/332/336/427/147/148/149 IPC Act have also been registered against him at PS Bhaderwah, it added further. (PTK)
