Awareness programme on Agnipath scheme held at Shopian.

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SHOPIAN, JULY 26: The Zilla Welfare Sainik Board Srinagar in collaboration with District Administration   Shopian today organized an awareness programme on Agnipath scheme at Mini Secretariat, here.

The programme was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya.

  Large number of youth and students from various areas of the district participated in the programme.

During the proceedings of the programme, youth were apprised about the various features of the  Agnipath scheme. They were also made aware about the process of  registration, eligibility criteria, examinations and other processes involved in the selection of candidates under the scheme.

Officers and officials from Zila Sainik Welfare Board and other officers were also present at the event.
