Awareness program on Agnipath scheme held at Kulgam

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KULGAM, JULY 25: The Zilla Welfare Sainik Board Srinagar in collaboration with District Administration Kulgam and Employment and Counseling Centre Kulgam today organized an awareness programme regarding Agnipath scheme at Rest house Chawalgam, here.

The programme was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.

A large number of youth from various areas of the district participated in the programme.

During the programme, youth were apprised about the Agnipath scheme and were sensitized about its significance.

They were also made aware about the registration process, eligibility criteria, examination and other salient features and processes involved in the selection of candidates under the scheme.

Additional Development Commissioner Kulgam, Officers and officials from Zila Sainik Welfare Office and other officers were also present at the event.
