At minus 5.8°C Srinagar records season’s coldest night so far
Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Dec 25: At minus 5.8°C, Srinagar, J&K’s summer capital, has recorded the coldest night of the season so far.
With dry weather conditions persisting and clear sky conditions looming across Kashmir, cold conditions during the night have intensified in recent days.
Meanwhile, at minus 7.0°C Pahalgam in South Kashmir recorded today the coldest night of the season while Kupwara in North Kashmir recorded minus 6.0°C, this season’s lowest temperature so far.
Meanwhile independent weatherman Faizan Arif said that on 2018, on 28 December, temperature dropped to minus 7.7°C in Srinagar.
The lowest ever temperature is minus 12.8°C recorded on 13 December 1934, he said.
