Army’s 5RR Battalion (JAT) Distrubed Ration to Needy Families at Beehama

GANDERBAL 11 APRIL (PTK)Taking another steps to help the needy in times of need due to outbreak of COVID-19 Army Camp Dudarhama of Military Garrison, Ganderbal distributed rations at Beehama to families who are really in need of assistance in terms of basic food items.

Due to shoutdown called by Civil Administration to control the outbreak of COVID-19, poor families suffered due to shortage of food items. In order to address the issues, 5 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion (JAT) had undertaken a noble cause by distributing rations to the needy and poor families.

The locals and families who have received help appreciated the initiative undertaken by the unit and expressed their gratitude to the Army for their continuous help in times of need.

Advocate Altaf Ahmad Chairman Municipal Council Ganderbal along with his members were also present at the distribution point and expressed his gratitude for the positive initiative undertaken by the Army.(PTK)
