Army’s 42 RR Organises Medical cum Veterinary Camp in Tral

 

Tral, July 13: The Indian Army’s 42 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) undertook a significant initiative by organizing a Medical cum Veterinary Camp at the Sheep Husbandry’s Main Office in Bajwani area of Tral in South Kashmir on Saturday.

The camp, aimed at serving the general public of Tral sub-district, witnessed a robust turnout and active participation from the locals.

Led by 42 RR, the camp was facilitated by two veterinary doctors and the Regimental Medical Officer (RMO) from the unit. Their efforts proved invaluable as they rendered medical care to over 250 individuals, encompassing women, elderly persons, and children. Simultaneously, the medical team provided treatment to more than 100 animals, emphasizing the holistic approach of the initiative.

Local residents expressed gratitude for the timely assistance, highlighting the positive impact of such initiatives on public health.
