Army provides humanitarian assistance to fire victim in Ganderbal

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar:- Army on Monday provided a humanitarian assistance to a fire victim in Ganderbal district.

An official said that On 05 Nov 22 at around 0710 Hr CHATTERGUL ARMY CAMP of WUSSAN BATTALION was alerted about a fire enraging in the house of Hilaal Ahmed Dar resident of Sangatpura Mohalla of village Chattergul-B.

He said that the troops immediately swung into action and were at the forefront of coordinating efforts to douse the flame to save lives and materials.

Eventually the fire was brought under control by the galvanized efforts of the Army and the locals, he said.

Due to the concerted efforts of all involved, no loss of human or livestock was ensured and no one was injured, he added.

Humanitarian assistance given by the Army was appreciated by local people whole heartedly, he said:- PTK.
