Army on Monday conducted a meeting with sarpanchs, market presidents and others in Kangan
Press Trust of Kashmir | Ganderbal :Army on Monday conducted a meeting with political leaders, panchs, market presidents and others in Kangan area of Ganderbal.
An official said that Brig Atul Rajput, SM Commander 3 Sector Rashtriya Rifles carried out Chai Par Charcha with presidents of Taxi Union, Market association and Sarpanchs of Kangan Sub-division.
The meet was attended by a total of 21 leaders, representing people from various walks of Kashmiri society of Kangan Sub-division.
He further added The interactive session saw the leaders having an open conversation with Manasbal Sector Commander with respect to the security especially with relation to upcoming Amarnath Yatra.
The local representatives were happy and motivated with the discussions, wherein, they also put forward their points for consideration. Discussions regarding the collective effort of security forces and the civilian representatives for safe and peaceful conduct of the holy Amarnath Yatra were also conducted.
Overall the interactive session turned out to be successful as the information shared during the conduct of the same would further help to align the local population with the mainstream.:-PTK.
