Srinagar December 10 (PTK) A 36-year-old man, Ab Hamid Sofi, a resident of Arampora, Kupwara, and father of three children, tragically passed away at Associate Hospital GMC Handwara. His family has alleged medical negligence on the part of the hospital staff, claiming lapses in care led to his untimely death.
family asserts that hospital staff failed to provide appropriate medical attention, which they believe directly contributed to Sofi’s death.
They have demanded accountability and an independent inquiry into the circumstances leading to his demise.
According to PTK, Medical Superintendent (MS) of the hospital has strongly refuted the claims, calling them baseless.
According to the MS, the doctors and medical personnel were present and provided all necessary treatments in accordance with protocols.
The hospital administration maintains that the patient was handled with due care and attention.
An internal investigation has been initiated by the hospital administration to ascertain the facts and clear any ambiguity surrounding the incident.
