After brief exchange of fire, militants escape in Sopore

Press trust of Kashmir |Sopore: After a brief exchange of fire Militants have managed to excape in Sopore area north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official said as cordon was being laid at Usmanabad Warpora area of Sopore, militants fired upon forces and escaped from the spot.

More reinforcements were called and whole area was cordoned off soon after exchange of fire, he said.

After conducting searches for several hours, no contact was established and it seems militants have managed to escape after initial exchange of fire.(PTK)
