ADC Bandipora conducts surprise inspection of Offices
BANDIPORA, JULY 16 PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Waseem Raja today conducted a surprise inspection of the offices located in mini secretariat Bandipora to check the attendance of the staff and delivery of services to the general public.
The ADC was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bandipora Parvaiz Rahim and other concerned.
The ADC checked the attendance and asked the staff to remain available to the public and solve their problems and grievances without any delay. He further asked to ensure the quality disposal of public grievances.
He said that no laxity would be allowed in the maintenance of proper discipline, and punctuality in Government offices in the interest of efficient public service delivery.

BUDGAM, JULY 16 PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Budgam today celebrated ICAR 94th Foundation Day & Awards Ceremony at KVK campus, here.
The programme at the Kendra was attended by around 50 farmers of the district who were connected virtually with ICAR New Delhi.
During this function, Union Agriculture Minister, N.S. Tomar released the success stories of 75000 Progressive Farmers of the country at ICAR New Delhi. Besides this many progressive farmers were awarded and interactive session with farmers across the country was also held through virtual mode.
Dr. T. Mohapatra (D. G. ICAR) highlighted the achievements of ICAR and adoption of latest agricultural technologies by the farmers which paved the way for doubling the farmers’ income.
At KVK campus, Fida Hussain Safvi (Progressive farmer), interacted with the farmers of the district regarding how he achieved the milestone of becoming a progressive farmer by adoption of integrated farming system with the support of KVK Budgam.
Dr Bilal Ahmad Lone (Sr. Scientist & Head KVK Budgam) discussed the 94th Foundation day of ICAR and interacted with the farmers regarding the event.
