ADC Anantnag flags-off Mega Tiranga Rally at Anantnag

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR ANANTNAG, AUGUST 06: Under the banner of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaigns, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Anantnag, Gh. Hassan Sheikh today flagged-off a Mega Tiranga Rally from Higher Secondary School, Khanabal to DC office, here.

Hundreds of school children from various schools of the Anantnag Town, staff, officers and officials of various departments took part in the Rally carrying the National Flag.

CEO Anantnag, Principal Higher Secondary, Khanabal and Anantnag also took part in the Rally.

The Rally was organised to instill a sense of patriotic fervour among the people and students.

Speaking on the occasion, ADC highlighted the role of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and impressed upon the gathering to vigorously take part in the campaign and appealed all to hoist the National Flag on their homes between August 13- 15.

Later, Flag Hoisting Ceremony was also organised in Higher Secondary School, Girls Anantnag.
