A Medical camp organised by Army at Leh
Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar :A medical camp was organized by Fire and Fury Corps at Leh on 25 Oct 2021. Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Shri Radha Krishna Mathur and Lieutenant General PGK Menon, General Officer Commanding, Fire and Fury Corps also visited the camp.
offical told the Press Trust of Kashmir that , The event was a joint venture with ‘Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Seva Samity’, a Jaipur based Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) headed by Padma Bhushan Shri D R Mehta, Chief patron who provided their valuable services in distribution of mobility aids for the betterment of differently abled persons. Over 500 medical equipments like hearing aids, crutches, wheel chairs and self-employment tools like sewing machines were distributed to the differently abled persons along with medical checkup of people followed by distribution of medicines.
People of Leh greatly benefitted from the camp and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Army and the Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) for the benevolent action.(PTK)
