Oil tanker falls into Jhelum in Sumbal, driver killed

Srinagar, July 05 :- A speedy oil tanker has fallen into the river Jehlum in Wangipora, Sumbal in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that during intervening night
One unknown oil tanker on way from Srinagar towards Sumbal in Bandipora district skidded off the road near Wangipora checkpost and fell into river Jhelum along with the driver.
According to an official statement the searches were launched to fish out the driver/tanker and finally body has been retrieved a shifted to CHC Sumbal for medico-legal formalities
The driver was later identified as Jitendher Singh son of Inderjeet Singh resident of Bharakh Dist Reasi.
