Masjid Damaged in Massive Fire in Srinagar’s Bohri Kadal

Srinagar : Fire broke out in the Bohri Kadal area of central Kashmir’s district Srinagar on Monday, causing extensive damage to a local masjid, officials reported.

An official stated that fire tenders promptly arrived at the scene to combat the flames. “Despite the quick response, the Bazar Masjid had already suffered extensive damage by the time the fire tenders reached,” he said.

Firefighting operations are still underway to prevent the fire from spreading further. “The cause of the fire is currently being investigated,” the official added.
