Schools Closed Across Kupwara, Doda, Gurez, and Ramban Due to Inclement Weather

As inclement weather blankets various regions of Jammu and Kashmir, several districts have taken proactive steps to ensure student safety by suspending school operations.
In Kupwara district, all schools closed on April 29th, 2024, following an avalanche warning from the Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority (JKDMA). This preemptive measure aims to safeguard students amidst unpredictable weather conditions.
Similarly, in Doda district, both government and private schools ceased operations on the same day due to adverse weather conditions, prioritizing student safety above all else.
In Gurez Sub Division, snowfall prompted authorities to suspend classes across all educational institutions, recognizing the disruptive nature of natural phenomena and prioritizing safety.
Additionally, Ramban district also closed all schools due to heavy rain and inclement weather conditions, ensuring the smooth conduct of ongoing examinations despite the closures.
These coordinated efforts underscore the proactive approach taken by district administrations to protect the well-being of students and educational staff amidst unpredictable weather patterns, prioritizing safety and academic continuity.
