Srinagar Boat Tragedy: BJP JK Spokesperson Expresses Grief and Solidarity

Srinagar, April 16: In a heart-wrenching incident, a boat capsized in Gandbal, Lasjan-Sointeng Srinagar, leading to loss of lives and injuries. Expressing deep grief, Altaf Thakur, BJP JK spokesperson, conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families.

Thakur also expressed solidarity with the affected families and prayed for the swift recovery of those currently receiving treatment at SMHS hospital.

Urging the SDRF and other rescue teams to expedite their operations in the area, Thakur emphasized the need for swift action to provide relief and assistance to those affected by this tragedy.

Earlier, At least four persons have died while three persons are undergoing treatment at Srinagar’s SMHS hospital after a boat capsized in river Jhelum near Batwara area of Srinagar today morning.
