Horticulture Department holds awareness camp at village Khalu

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR BHADERWAH, AUGUST 06: An horticulture awareness camp was held today at village Khalu in Panchayat Manwa of Bhaderwah zone.

A large number of farmers and orchardist participated in the program presided over by Chief Horticulture Officer, Rakesh Kotwal.

HDO Bhaderwah, Rahat Bashir gave a detailed account of different horticulture schemes and laid special emphasis on availing the modified high density plantation scheme and importance of solar dryers.

 Orchardist projected numerous demands for which the CHO assured timely redressal.

It is pertinent to mention here that a series of awareness camps are being held across the district under guidance of Director Horticulture Jammu, Ram Sevak.

In his address, Chief Horticulture Officer, Rakesh Kotwal gave full details regarding modified high density plantation scheme to orchardist and also visited different orchards of Khalu and Browaha villages and guided orchardist regarding orchard management
