DDC Chairperson Ganderbal launches blacktopping work on Yenihama link road

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR GANDERBAL, AUGUST 03: Committed to serving the masses and providing development to all corners of Ganderbal district, DDC Chairperson (DDC) Ganderbal, Nuzhat Ishfaq today kick-started blacktopping work on Yenihama link road of Lar Block.

Meanwhile, the DDC Chairperson interacted with the locals who apprised her about various issues and grievances. She assured them of redressal of their grievances in a time bound manner.

While interacting with the locals, Nuzhat said that blacktopping of this road will provide better connectivity to the residents and will help in improving traffic congestion.

She said that PWD is taking necessary steps to complete pending works in a shorter time period. The DDC Chairperson exhorted upon the Executive Engineer to maintain the quality and complete the work within the stipulated time period.

She cautioned the implementing agencies to meet the deadlines strictly in the given developmental projects. She said the government will not tolerate any inordinate delays in works and action as per law shall be taken against contractors who fail to meet the deadlines or will not ensure standard quality of works.
