Govt announces one-time age relaxation to SI posts

JAMMU, NOV10 (PTK): The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday announced one-time age relaxation for the candidates of sub-inspector posts, besides increasing the total number of posts in the Union Territory from 800 to 1200.

The Lieutenant Governor’s Office Jammu and Kashmir made this announcement through a tweet.

“After representation from various delegations, Govt has decided to provide one time age relaxation for candidates in recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in @JmuKmrPolice. Upper age limit increased from 28 to 30 years and no more. The number of UT cadre posts also increased from 800 to 1200 (sic),” the tweet read. (PTK)
