Bear injures man in Dooru Anantnag

Press Trust of Kashmir |Anantang : A Bear on prowl in Dooru hamlets of South Kashmir’s Anantnag distric has injured several persons in the area in the recent past.

An official said that three bear attacks were reported within a week in Dooru villages resulting in injuries to three persons.

Locals said that the villagers have requested Wild Life Department to capture these bear that have created fear psychosis among population.

In a recent attack, bear mauled a man in Mirmaidan village of Dooru. The man who has been identified as Altaf Hussain Bodha is battling for life in the hospital. He has sustained serious multiple injuries.

Locals have requested wildlife officials to come and capture the animal so that local can live without any fear.(PTK).
