Family of govt teacher from Arizal Budgam alleges medical negligence at SMHS, patient in Coma 

Srinagar Mar 07 (PTK) :The family members and relatives of a government teacher from Arizal belt in Beerwah area of Budgam alleged that due to medical negligence their patient is now in coma.

They said that he was having a minor ailments and was admitted at SMHS some 10 days before but they didn’t treat him well and he is now in coma.

They added that he was in emergency operated by some junior doctors and despite repeated calls to senior resident, he didn’t pick up call due to which our patient is now coma.

They demanded that matter must be investigated so that such incidents won’t come to fore in future.

Today it happened with us and in future it can happen so there is need to wake up today, they said.

They added that senior residents spent most of their time at private clinics and no attention is being given to poor patients at government hospitals.

They said that if it is the condition at super specialty hospital then what be the condition at hospitals in rural areas.

They said that our patient has got recently married and is father of one month old daughter besides that he is the lone brother of five sisters.

They requested LG and Principal GMC Srinagar to look into the matter at an earliest and take strict action against the involved persons. (PTK)
