BJP Kashmir leader paid rich tributes to Atal Ji his his 96th birth anniversary*
*Leaders vowed for good governance at ground level*
Srinagar, Dec 25 (PTK) BJP Kashmir Unit leaders on Friday paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 96th birth anniversary and stated that his slogan of Kashmirat, Jamuriyat and Insaniyat has boosted the good governance signs in the Union Territory.
Adressing the party office in Srinagar, the senior leaders of BJP paid rich tributes to great leaders and termed him as the ambassador of peace and prosperity for the country.
Party’s Kashmir Media Incharge and leader Manzoor Bhat recalled the former PM’s contribution towards Kashmir. He was a man of vision and eloquence, hisbcommitment to India’s development and upholding democratic values was unparalleled,” he said.
“Atal Ji famous slogan of Kashmirat, Jamuriyat and Insaniyat is more relevant today when party ha won three seats in the valley.It is just a new beginning and BJP is committed for development in the region,” Bhat said.
He said Vajpayee’s birthday, which is also being observed as Good Governance Day, befits such a towering personality who always strove to provide people with a life of dignity.
Party Spokesman and senior leader Altaf Thakur said Atal Ji was one of the most dynamic leaders who ushered in an era of reforms, progress and took the country forward.
” BJP Kashmir Unit also followed his footsteps of good governance and that is why party opened account with three seats,” he said.
Thakur said they will uphold the good governance at the ground level and work for the development in the region.
