Police asks to close your shops when markets are open everywhere, says Jamia Masjid Market Shopkeepers

Srinagar, (PTK): Govt forces Jamia Masjid Nowhatta to close down shops to prevent them from earning ahead of Eid, when markets in several other areas across Kashmir are open.

Shopkeepers alleged that since last one year, we have opened our shops hardly for 15 to 20 days and ahead of Eid we opened shops for today but police asked us to close shops.

We have been sanitizing our market on regular basis on our own and have been taking care of social distance and other precautions, they said.

If administration wants to impose restrictions it must be everywhere and not for any particular area, they said.

They requested authorities to look into the matter as our everything is wholy and solly on our shops
