Baby dies in mother’s womb: Family alleges of medical negligence in Humhama

Srinagar June 18(PYK)Relatives of pregnant lady told PTK, who was in quarantine centre at Humhama are claiming that an unborn baby has died of medical negligence and they held a protested against the administration.

Protesting relatives said that after patient complained of pain, doctors were contacted who assured that they will send ambulance within half an hour, however after after elapsing of many hours ambulance reached there but till then baby had died in womb of mother

They alleged that had doctors or ambulance reached there on time, baby would have been alive.

They said authorities have played with their lives and due to non serious approach of concerned officials, baby has been lost.

They demanded imperial investigation in this regard and action against the involving persons.(PTK)
