Jammu August 4 (PTK) B V R Subrahmanyam, the chief secretary today chaired a meeting to review status regarding the reservation of seats for students belonging to the Union Territory of Ladakh in professional institutions, for the academic year 2020-21.
4% seats will be reserved for the students of Ladakh in the professional institutions of UT of J&K, for the academic year 2020-21.
- This will include seats in both engineering as well as medical colleges. This includes 24 seats in engineering colleges and 35 seats in medical colleges. Administrative Secretaries of the Social Welfare Department and Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs Department, among others participated in the meeting.(PTK)
