2 thieves arrested, stolen property recovered in Budgam
Press Trust Of Kashmir Budgam Srinagar Nov 05:- Police in Central Kashmir’s Budgam have arrested two thieves and recovered stolen property from their possession.
An official said that an investigation was set into motion after a case was registered under case FIR number 88/2022 under relevant sections of law at Police Station Chadoora on 17-05-2022.
As informed, the incident took place at Malik Bagh Kralpora in which some thieves entered into premises of 02 factories titled Bhat Fabrication and Rice Puff Factory and stole away some Machinery equipments, he said.
Accordingly, investigating team was constituted, after strenuous efforts and working on some leads, one person namely Bilal Ahmad Dar @Bilal khar son of Abdul Ahad Dar, a resident of Bilal coloney Qamerwari A/P Shaltang Srinagar was arrested, on his disclosure one more accused person namely Imtiyaz Ahmad Khandy son of Ghulam Mohammad khandy, a resident of Bilal Coloney Qamerwari was arrested in above mentioned FIR.
On their disclosure, so far following stolen items have been recovered from their possession, 01 Gas cylinder, 01 Stabilizer, 01 cutter, 04 boxes of Welding electric rods and some copper wire, he said.
Futher investigation into the matter is going on. More arrests and recoveries are expected, he added.
