2 Killed 10 injured in a Blast at Drass

Two individuals were killed and ten others sustained injuries in an explosion that occurred near a scrap dealer’s shop in the Drass area of Kargil district, Ladakh, on Friday evening.

According to an official statement to the Press Trust of Kashmir news agency, the blast took place at the shop, resulting in the casualties.

The injured individuals have been transported to the Sub-district hospital in Drass for medical treatment. While the cause of the explosion remains unknown, the police have initiated an investigation into the incident and have registered a case.(PTK)
