Weather to improve from today afternoon: MeT

SGR March. 24 (PTK) Meteriological Department has predicted improvement in weather from today afternoon.

Director MeT, Sonam Lotus said that from today afternoon onwards weather will improve in Kashmir.

“Thereafter, there’s no forecast of any major rainfall activity till ending March,” he said.

Meanwhile, the 270 kilometre Srinagar-Jammu highway has been closed for third straight day on Wednesday following the fresh landslides along the several places on the highway.

An official said that multiple landslides blocked the highway at cafteria, seri, marog, digdol areas.

“Once the weather will be cleared, road will be cleared on priority basis,” the official said. (PTK)
