Two local JeM Militants killed in Kulgam encounter

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR SEP 27:- Two local JeM militants have been killed in an encounter that broke out between security forces and militants in Ahwatoo area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said on Tuesday.
An official said that a joint of team of police and CRPF after receiving information about the presence of militants launched search operation in the area.

He said that as the joint team of forces intensified searches towards suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the party, which was retaliated, thus triggering an encounter.
He said that during exchange of fire, two local JeM militants were killed who were involved in many militancy related incidents.
